Kids days. / 5:53:00 PM

Fourth day of school, and I'm starting to love my role as a teacher.

Back then, I was constantly scolded for being too talkative, for not tucking in my uniform etc.
Who knows now, I have the authority to scold, to get students to tuck in their uniform. I get to take lift cos' I have the rights to. I get to have a scan card and 'teeeee' before I step into the office. I get to be called 'Miss Tan'.

First few days, I was almost bored to death, taking one class per day, and then to rot in the office. Yet now, Cheryl and I made ourselves useful by offering help to any teachers we see. So, we see ourselves getting busier each day.

I have been taking Primary 2 classes and they are really sweet kids.
Back to primary school days, it's always 'TEACHER TEACHER! She say she don't friend me'

And for today, I got the same class I took yesterday. I love them so much that I start to feel attached to them ): They love me as well though :D They were so lovely that they will draw pictures of me voluntarily and pass it to me. One was sooooo shy that she got her friend to pass it to me. How nice!

I was still happily chewing on my chicken rice today and I was told to relief 2C IMMEDIATELY. Tsk. That was what happened: Cheryl followed me to class since she had nothing to do.

Me: Class stand! Okay, this (referring to Cheryl) is Miss Bong.
Class: What? Bong? Or bomb?
I started laughing cos' she and I had some jokes about her surname.

After some time, two lil' kids started quarreling and one cried. After talking to them nicely and in a motherly way (yes, motherly), they shoke each other's hand and I got two of them to give each other a hug. SO CUTE PLEASE!

Me: One slient clap!
(The class really went quiet)
Me: Okay, why not I let you all know more about me? But, raise your hand before you start asking me questions okay?

And then... Some kids started raising their hands.
Blah blah blah..

One kid: MISS TAN! ARE YOU MARRIED?
Me: Okay, he asked if I'm married. How many of you think that I'm married?
Two kids raised their hands.
Me: ORHHHH! So you think that I'm pretty right, that's why you think I'm married.
One of the guys got so shy he hid under the table. DAMN CUTE!

Another one: What hobbies do you have?
Me: Do you all think I'm a sports person?
Class: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. (A few shouted no)
Me: Do you all think I'm a music person?
Class: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Me: AHHH, smart people. I play guzheng and basketball etc etc etc.....

Till,
Me: Okay, now Cheryl and I are not friends already. If I get to teach your class, how many of you want me to teach you all?
Them: ME ME ME ME!!!!! (Raises their hand)

HOW SWEET OF THEM LA!

Me: Whoa, means I win! Then what if both of us teach you all together?
Some: Don't want. (Started folding their hands)
Me: Okay then, BYE BYE!
Some: OKAY WANT WANT WANT.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, how adorable kids are! I wanna have my own kids one day (:

Oh ya, there was this primary one kid who was VERY violent. I think she just felt scared and intimitated since parents are not allowed to stay with them in school anymore. Cheryl and I have to go after her and then she started whacking Cheryl and kept wailing loudly. Another teacher had to go down on her knees IN SKIRT, hug her, pacify her etc but it didn't work. Kids these days are too pampered. Aren't they?

Tomorrow's Friday ): I don't get to see the kids on weekends ): But still, I'm happy cos' Saturday's coming (:
